Composer in residence at Kražiai College

On 24 September at 12 noon, at the end of the month-long composing residency at the college, at the final event, Illia to talked about his style of composition by presenting two new works written for the Christmas mass for a local women's ensemble, Šviesybe šiandien užtvin mus (a cappella) and Džiugauk (accompanied by an organ).

Premier performance is planned on 25th of December on Christmas Missa at Kražių Švč. Mergelės Marijos nekaltojo prasidėjimo bažnyčia (St. Kražia Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary).

Additionally, a collaboration with another resident, Dominykas Matulionis, a Lithuanian director and writer, will result in the presentation of the performance entitled Angel, which was created during the residency.
